OH MY FREAKIN GOSH
I hate lightning and thunder when it is close; I love it when it is far away. Last night it was so close that the house would shake when the thunder came, it is 1:00 am for me right now and I can not sleep I am soo scared it is starting to crackle well here are some pic.s that I took since sleeping was way out of the picture for me. I hope you enjoy them.I took this one out side the rest are inside I got scared. :-)

I posted an article on my blog a few days ago about lightning hitting the building next to my house. Yowza. Knocked a picture off the wall. I totally agree with you. Lightning/Thunder far away = good. Lightning/Thunder close = bad.

Oh heck no I wouldn’t have wanted to go out side when it was that close. My mom didn’t even want me by the window because it had metal on it and she was afraid that I would get hit and then I would get it, but I stayed. I like taking pic.s of lightning it is a challenge.

the pictures are awesome. I agree with you that taking picture of lightning is difficult. But you've captured the moments so perfectly....

i really like that... to bad i didn't think about taking pictures with my camera when thr thunder and lightning came!
